Family Cookbooks

Preserve Those Treasured Recipes

By Donna Smith

Pages:  1  2  3  4

Do you want to do it the traditional way with headings such as "Meat," "Chicken" and "Vegetables" or just place the recipes in random order? Another option would be to categorize them by families. For example, have all of Aunt Mary's and her children's recipes together in one section and Aunt Barbara's family in another section. Or how about starting with the recipes of the oldest members of the family and ending with the youngest? Six-year-old Michael's root beer float recipe would be a great way to end the cookbook!

  • Write up a table of contents and put everything into a three-ring binder.
