Using a whole grain bread and filling the sandwiches with chicken or egg salad, cut the sandwiches diagonally. Cut the top corners short, then place small gold-colored safety pins on the cut corners (safety pins can be found at most craft stores). Refrigerating the sandwiches before you cut them allows for smoother lines.

Punch ideas:
There are a million different punches you can make with simple beverages like 7-Up, fruit juices, ginger ale and teas. Experiment with different combinations, but always remember – no alcohol, please!

The Cake:
Most bakeries design wonderful cakes for baby showers. If you plan to have a bakery provide a cake for you, be sure to tell them how many guests will be coming. If you want to create a cake of your own, there are many cute ideas available in cake decorating books and the Internet. Here is how to make a cake in the shape of a stork.

Stork Cake
What you need:
3 boxes of cake mix
2 4X6-inch rectangle bread pans
1 6-inch round cake pan
1 9-inch round cake pan
1 large rectangle board covered with colored Saran Wrap
1 large "wiggle" eye from a craft store
