Fun Food Ideas to Make with Your Kids
By Kendeyl Johansen
Coaxing children to eat can be difficult. Many would prefer to drink chocolate milk and skip meals altogether. Other children won't eat anything green, or insist on munching hot dogs for breakfast. Stop mealtime battles by helping your child make fun critter craft lunches. Each meal is designed to feed a family of four.
These lunches were kid-tested and certified delicious by the 3-year-old class of Utah's Parent Cooperative Preschool. Munching on his Ant Log, Drew said, "Cr-unch. Yum!" Delaney had to be coaxed away from her Worm Dirt when it was time for the children to clean up for outside play.

You'll need:
| Butter knife | |
| 4 plates | |
| Celery sticks | |
| Carrot sticks | |
| Peanut butter | |
| Raisins |
Children love to use knives. Cutting and spreading makes them feel independent and big, but always remember to supervise knife use by children.
