A. Helping to protect the vital organs, including the eyes and skin; maintaining the immune system; helping supply oxygen to the blood; preventing and dissolving blood clots; slowing the aging of cells caused by oxidation; and it's important for cell health.
B. Helping the body break down amino acids and metabolize fats and carbohydrates; keeping the central nervous system working properly; promoting the formation of antibodies.
Good sources of vitamin E include wheat germ, wheat germ oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, peanut butter, breads, eggs, green leafy vegetables and whole-grain cereals.
B. Helping the body use vitamins; helping the body cope with stress; aiding in the formation of cells; helping the body metabolize fat, protein and carbohydrates; maintaining a healthy central nervous system; and aids in fighting infections.
