What's For Dinner?

Grab a Sandwich!

In a skillet, saut矴he onions in butter until tender. Place in a slow cooker. Cut the roast in half, and place over the onions. Combine water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soup mix and garlic; pour over the roast. Cover and cook on low for seven to nine hours. (I cooked mine for nine hours.)

Remove roast with a slotted spoon, and let stand for 15 minutes. Thinly slice the meat across the grain. Place on rolls, and sprinkle with the shredded Swiss cheese. Broil 4 inches from the heat for about one minute or until the cheese is melted. Serve the cooking juices as dipping sauce on the side. Makes about 12 sandwiches.

Hot Ham and Cheese Wraps
It just doesn't get much easier than this! Simply pile the tortilla with ham, top with cheese and tomato slices, roll it up and serve. This is a great meal on those nights where you just don't have a lot of time to cook. If you like dipping sauces, I'd suggest serving a little salsa or mild horseradish sauce on the side.

6 slices American cheese
12 thin slices tomato
Salsa or horseradish sauce, optional

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar were recently named Parents of the Year by a non-profit organization. Do you think they deserve this title?

Yes! Anyone who can handle 18 kids deserves it!
Maybe. They seem like good parents but having more kids doesn't make you better at it.
No! It's hard enough to be parents to one child, much less 18.
