Heather's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
Introduction
Dear Diary,
It's been a tough month! I mean really tough. I attribute this to the
holidays. I hope that it will be better for me next month. Don't I
always
say this, though? I have been trying to stick to my Slim-Fast, twice a
day, and then the one meal a day, but I have been snacking more on
chocolate, cookies, cakes and goodies. Mostly because people are handing
out the stuff in December! It's a hard month. I think I did as well as I
could.
I haven't walked on my treadmill everyday, but I did it when I had the time and could remember.
On Christmas Day, I fit into a dress nicely and comfortably that I have not worn in about a year. My mother-in-law commented that I looked really skinny in it, and that really made my whole month! (Now, if I can just get those compliments while wearing a bathing suit...)
I am not making a New Year's resolution because my resolution has been to get back into shape which is what I am presently doing. So it would be somewhat pointless. I believe that everyday we should make a resolution to shape our lives and change for the better. This is what I have been doing, with God's help, this past year. I have seen a tremendous change in myself and in my attitude. I have daily resolutions.
And so, in conclusion, I keep up the hard work to get this weight off, and to get into great shape for the summer. This will be a daily struggle, and I continue as best as I can.
Until next week,
Heather
