Introduction
I am down three more pounds, but that flucuates -- expecially with the holidays. I am having a more peaceful food holiday this year than I ever have. I think it is because I am so aware of what is going into my body and what will come of it.
I am exercising six days a week. Nothing fancy. It's snowing here, and outdoor activity isn't really appealling. I do an indoor walking video that allows me to cover 2 miles in 30 minutes. I love it!
I am a creature of habit. I find that what matters most for my fitness goals is being consistant. Doing this tape six days a week has given me some very important things:
1. Freedom to enjoy my food.
2. Weight loss.
3. Muscle Tone.
4. The ability to positively impact my children. (They see me having fun with exercise.)
Anyhow, I am not really planning to lose too much more weight over the holidays. If on Jan. 2 I haven't gained more than 3-5 pounds, I will be happy. Then, I will have two weeks to get back on my eating plan (note: I am not stopping the exercise during the holidays.) and reach my weight goal by the time I turn 31.
This week's recipe:
Coke Float
one serving of lite vanilla ice cream
one can of diet, caffeine-free Coke
combine both in a frosty mug for a great treat!
Happy Holidays!
