A co-worker of mine plopped down on the floor beside my desk the other day while on her lunch break and spread out some Weight
Watcher’s books in front of my chair. I was intrigued by what she had and asked her if she had recently been on the Weight Watcher’s diet. She told me a little bit about
it and the point system that they use. (I was even more intrigued!) She told me that she is going to start up on it again because it really worked for her. I thumbed through the
different pamphlets and booklets that she had. After reading through some of this literature, I decided that this might be a diet that would work for me. The point system seems to be
something that I could stick to very well. So, I am going to drop by the closest Weight Watcher’s (center) and inquire about buying the books, only. I don’t feel like I
need to “join” their program in order for it to work for me. I already have a few friends who have decided to help support each other while on this same diet. I am going
to try it, and Andrew may join me. I think the journaling and point system, combined with regular exercise can really work!
With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, and lots of fatty, unhealthy eating ahead, I wish everyone luck with their “diets” or motivations to continue doing what they
are doing to continue to lose weight, stay healthy, or maintain the weight that they have lost. It’s hard during the holiday season, I KNOW! It’s when I have gained the
most of my weight in the past years. I am sure most can relate to this issue!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Until next time,
Heather
