Expert Q&A

I've read the latest research on carrots and broccoli, and want to include them a lot in my meal planning. What ways can I cook or use these cancer-fighting veggies?
Try exploring stir-fried vegetables (like in a teriyaki dish) or blanch vegetables and serve with dips or in salads. Another way is to use them separately in soups to make cream of broccoli or cream of carrot soup. Broccoli is also nice in quiches and other casseroles. Carrots are great in noodle salads when they are cut into matchsticks or julienned. They are also nice baked, roasted or grilled. Just coat with a bit of olive oil and salt."
