My children love wraps in their lunchboxes. What are some creative filling ideas?
Lots and lots of ideas for wraps! Here are a few from my book Feeding the Whole Family (Moon Smile Press, 1998) plus some extras:
- Scrambled tofu and vegetables
- Tuna salad and lettuce
- Cream cheese and turkey
- Tabouli with cooked chickpeas
- Gingered lentil sandwich spread
- Hummus with sprouts and tomato
- Black beans and brown rice with scallions and cilantro
- Pinto beans with brown rice and grated cheese
- Indian rice and lentils
- Avocado and bacon
- Grilled vegetables and cheese
