Are potatoes good for you?
The anti-fat craze is over. Experts now tell us that high-quality fats are just as important in the diet as any other nutrient. So adding some high-quality, organic butter or sour cream to your potato will not only taste good, but will help you feel satiated and make the potato taste heavenly. I'm not sure why you have been told to avoid potatoes -- they are a fine whole food with lots of nutrients.
To cook a potato, I prefer a long, slow bake in the oven. One hour at 400 degrees F makes a soft, delectable potato."
