Do carrots help reduce cholesterol?
All vegetables have soluble fiber, which is helpful in reducing total cholesterol. However, that fiber is less available in carrots than in other raw vegetables. So lightly steam those carrots, and eat them with some cold-water, non-farm raised fish, fresh garlic on a green salad, and you have a good, heart-healthy meal!"
