Can a child drink too much milk?
Kids do need two to three servings of milk a day or the equivalent. A serving is 8 ounces of milk or fortified
soy milk, 8 ounces of yogurt or 1-1/2 ounces of cheese. Kids who drink much more than that tend to crowd other nutritious foods out of their diets. Too much milk leaves less room for
fruits, veggies, grains, and protein foods in your son's tummy. Keep your son's intake down to two to three cups a day by offering milk with snacks but sticking with water at
mealtimes."
