Seafood Chowder
Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons margarine
2 pints whipping cream
1 can (10 ounces) condensed New England clam chowder
2 to 3 potatoes, cubed
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
8 ounces lump crabmeat
1/2 pound cooked shrimp
Directions
Cook the onion in the margarine until soft. Add the whipping cream and canned soup; bring to a boil. Stir in the potatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Stir in the crabmeat and shrimp. Heat through.
Suggestions
Serve with oyster crackers or a loaf of French bread.
