Goofy Brains
Ingredients
3 small boxes peach-flavored gelatin
Water per package directions
12 ounces milk
Brain mold (seasonal item available at specialty stores)
Shredded carrots, stuffed olives or "eyeballs," as desired, for garnish
Directions
Follow directions on gelatin package: Empty gelatin into large bowl. Add boiling water. Stir for three minutes until gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in one cup cold water and 12 ounces cold milk.
Pour liquid into brain mold sprayed with vegetable oil spray. Wrap base of mold in towel, place mold inside pan or baking dish to keep it level until gelatin sets up. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
To remove gelatin from the mold, shake it lightly to loosen it from the sides. Place serving plate upside down over mold and invert. Trim, if necessary, with sharp knife.
Suggestions
Serve on a bed of shredded carrots. Garnish with stuffed olives or "eyeballs" as desired.
