Roasted Garlic with Cream Cheese


Ingredients

1 large bulb garlic
Olive oil
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese (can use fat-free), softened
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Cut off the top of the garlic bulb. Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil. Wrap up tightly in aluminum foil.

Bake at 400 degrees F for about 45 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.

Spread the cream cheese on a small serving plate. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Squeeze the pulp from the garlic all over the cream cheese.

Suggestions

Serve with crackers or toasted bread slices.
