Acorn Squash Puree
Your baby will love this simple squash puree!
Ingredients
2 acorn squash
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of cinnamon
Directions
Halve and seed the acorn squash. Place, cut side down, in a buttered baking dish. Cover and bake at 400 degrees F until tender, about one hour.
Cool, then scoop out the pulp. Put in a blender along with the butter, nutmeg and cinnamon. Puree until smooth.
Suggestions
Leftovers can be frozen and used later.
