Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

A breakfast your kids will love!

2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter 4 slices bread 2 small bananas, sliced 3 tablespoons butter |

Combine the egg and vanilla in a bowl. Set aside.
Spread 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter on the top of each slice of bread. Top two slices of the bread with the sliced bananas, then top with the other piece of bread to make a sandwich. Melt the butter in a skillet. Dip the sandwiches into the egg mixture, then fry in the butter until browned on both sides. |

Serve with maple syrup and garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
