1/3 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup sliced almonds
3 large egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vegetable cooking spray
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Line two large baking sheets with waxed paper, then spray lightly with nonstick spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Add cocoa and vanilla; beat well to blend. Fold in almonds. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
