Quick Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2/3 cup shortening
1 box yellow cake mix
1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Combine the eggs, vanilla, shortening and cake mix. Beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F about nine to 11 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool slightly, about two minutes, before removing them to wax paper to cool completely.
