Ornament Dough
Paris Cosby
Fun ornaments to make with the kids!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of salt
4 cups of flour
Approximately 2 cups of water
Directions
Mix dry ingredients together in a plastic bowl, then add water gradually. When dough forms a ball around the spoon, start kneading the dough.
Give to the kids and let them have tons of fun making different Christmas tree ornaments!
Bake the ornaments for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. (Don't forget to make a hole in the dough before you bake it for hanging!)
Paint, glaze, or glitter, and hang on the tree! You can also dye the dough different colors before you make ornaments out of it. For example, dye some red, intertwine that with the regular color and make a candy cane! I also cut out the kids' hand and foot prints. They are great to have as the kids get bigger. Their little hands and feet all over the tree.
