Carnitas


Ingredients

2 pounds pork butt roast
4 garlic cloves
1 fresh jalapeņo pepper, chopped
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
1 can beer
Flour tortillas, warmed
Toppings: chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, shredded cheese, sour cream, additional chopped cilantro

Directions

Place the roast in a Crock Pot. Add the garlic, jalapeno, cilantro and beer. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook on high heat for six to eight hours. Remove the meat and shred.

Suggestions

Serve with flour tortillas and desired toppings.
