Easy Chili

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cans (15 ounces each) tomato sauce
1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
2 cans (15.5 ounces each) pinto beans
1 package McCormick's Chili Seasoning (your choice of mild, regular or hot)
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 to 2 teaspoons chili powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
Shredded cheddar cheese, optional, for garnish
Directions
Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain. Transfer ground beef and onion to a Crock Pot, and then add remaining ingredients.
Cook on low for eight to 10 hours. Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired, before serving.
