| Chicken with Tomatoes and Rice |
| 1 chicken, about 3 pounds, cut into serving pieces ½ pound smoked sausage, but into pieces 1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce ½ cup water 1 cup white rice Salt and pepper to taste Freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
| Season the chicken with salt and pepper,
and then place in a Crock Pot. In a skillet, brown the sausage. Drain. Add to Crock Pot along with the bell pepper, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, water and rice. Stir. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-9 hours. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, then serve. |
