Almond Joy Cake



1 package Devil’s food cake mix
1 tub chocolate frosting
24 large marshmallows
1 bag (14 ounces) coconut
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup slivered almonds
directions
Prepare and bake the cake according to package directions in two round cake pans. Remove from oven to cool.

While cake is cooling, combine the evaporated milk, sugar and marshmallows in a large saucepan. Cook on low until marshmallows melt. Stir in coconut and almonds. Spread this on top of one of the cake layers. Top with remaining layer, then frost with chocolate icing.
