Banana Sundaes
Ingredients
2 tablespoons margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon rum or water
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ripe bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
Vanilla ice cream
Directions
Melt the margarine in a skillet. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and rum or water. Cook, stirring until sugar melts. Add the bananas, and cook about one minute. Turn the bananas over, and cook one more minute. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Suggestions
Serve warm over vanilla ice cream.
