| Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies |
| 2 eggs 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla 2/3 cup shortening 1 box yellow cake mix 1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup chopped pecans |

| Combine the eggs, vanilla, shortening and
cake mix. Beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F about 9-11 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool slightly, about 2 minutes, before removing them to wax paper to cool completely. |
