No-Sugar Apple Pie

by Cindy Tanner
Tangy apples baked in a pie shell and sweetened naturally with apple juice.

2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 small can frozen naturally-sweetened apple juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 package pie crusts for two-crust pie
directions
Combine the flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Add the apples, apple juice and vanilla; stir to coat the apples. Pour the apple mixture into the crust and top with the second piecrust. Seal and flute the edges with a fork, then cut two or three slits in the top. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 45 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting.
