| Apple Dump Cake (a.k.a. Panic) by Erica Vozzolo |
| My recipe was given to me by my grandmother and is perfect for moms on
the go. When we have unexpected guests that drop buy to see the baby, I can
whip up this dessert with items I keep handy in the pantry at all times. It's
quick and easy and is appropriately called "Panic." |
| 1 can apple pie filling (not sliced apples) 1 package yellow cake mix (1 layer) 1 stick margarine or butter, melted ½ cup walnuts, chopped |
| Pour pie filling into a buttered
8x8x20inch baking pan. Cover with dry cake mix. Drizzle melted butter or
margarine over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45
minutes or until brown. Serve warm or cold. Can be reheated. |

| You may also use peach, cherry, etc., pie
filling instead of apple. |
