Peanut Butter Snowballs
Donna Smith
No oven required for these treats!
Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 pound white candy coating
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, peanut butter and butter. Mix well. Shape into one-inch balls and place on waxed-paper- or aluminum-foil-covered cookie sheets. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
While they are chilling, melt the candy coating in the microwave in one-minute intervals until it is melted and smooth. Using a spoon, dip the chilled balls into the candy coating, coating completely. Place on waxed paper until the candy coating hardens.
Suggestions
Be careful not to get any water in the candy coating or it will not melt properly.
