Watermelon Slushies
Recipe is from Pick-A-Party Cookbook: Menus, Recipes and Serving Suggestions for 101 Theme Parties (Meadowbrook Press, 1998) by Patty Sachs
Ingredients
1/2 cup watermelon
1/2 cup crushed ice
Mint leaves and/or flower petals for garnish
Directions
Seed and coarsely chop the watermelon; save juices. Blend pieces and juice in a blender with crushed ice until "slushed." Pour into two tall glasses.
Garnish with mint leaves and/or flower petals. Serve with soda spoons. Makes two servings.
