| Witch's Brew by Donna Smith |
| 1 cup boiling water 2 packages (4 servings each) lime-flavored gelatin 3 cups cold water 1 bottle lemon-lime carbonated drink 1/2 cup of sugar Gummy worms |
| Dissolve the gelatin and sugar in the
boiling water. Stir in the cold water and the bottle of the lemon-lime drink.
Drop some gummy worms in the punch. Float bug ice rings* in the punch, if
desired. Garnish with additional gummy worms and/or bugs. |
||
| Make an extra batch this will not
last long!
*To make bug ice rings, take four small punch glasses or bowls and fill them with lemon-lime carbonated drink. Take small plaster flies, spiders or other insects of your choice and drop a few into the soda, then place them in the freezer. Right before serving the punch, remove the ice rings and run the bottom under hot water for about 30 seconds. Set them in the punch and watch the expressions of your guests' faces! You can also make "bug" ice by placing them in ice cube trays and freezing. Or try "worm" ice using colorful gummy worms! |
