Lentils and Rice

¾ cup lentils, washed and sorted
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
½ cup uncooked brown rice
4 cups vegetable broth
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
directions
Combine everything except ½ a cup of the Swiss cheese in a bowl. Pour into a 2-quart baking dish, cover, and bake at 350 degrees F for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Uncover and top with the remaining cheese. Bake another 5 minutes.
