Spinach Artichoke Casserole

2 (10-ounce) packages frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
1 (6-ounce) jar marinated artichokes, drained*
2 (3-ounces each) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

directions
Combine the cream cheese, softened butter, milk and pepper in a bowl. Mix well. Add the spinach and artichoke hearts. Stir to combine. Spoon into a shallow, lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes.

*Save the liquid from the artichokes. It makes a great marinade for meat or a nice salad dressing.
