Chili Moogini

Ingredients
3 pounds ground chuck
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon basil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (8 ounces) tomato paste
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 cup Tequila
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans
Directions
Brown meat in a skillet. Mix spices in a separate small bowl. In large stockpot add the meat, then onions, then spice mix. Simmer for two hours. Add 6 cups of water and the tequila. Simmer for two more hours. Add tomato paste. Simmer a half-hour. Add kidney beans and simmer one and a half hours. (Total simmer time six hours.)
Suggestions
Serve chili with favorite toppings like cheese, sour cream and onions.
