Cajun Chicken with Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) linguini
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 to 4 green onions, chopped
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Pepper, to taste
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook the linguini according to package directions. Set aside.
Season the chicken with the Cajun seasoning. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until cooked through. Add the green onion, cream, basil, and seasonings. Bring to boil, then add linguini. Heat through. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
Suggestions
Serve with additional grated Parmesan.
