| Macaroni With Canadian Bacon and Baby Peas |
| 1 package (8 ounces) macaroni 2 cups chicken broth 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon cornstarch 3 tablespoons cool water 1 cup frozen baby peas 1/4 pound Canadian bacon, diced 2 cups grated cheddar cheese Salt and pepper to taste |
| Combine the cornstarch and water. Stir until smooth.
Set aside. In a large pot, add the chicken broth and milk. Bring to boil. Add the pasta and cook until pasta is al dente, about nine to 10 minutes. Stir in the cornstarch mixture. Bring back to boil. Add the peas and bacon. Stir well. Remove from heat, and stir in the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve. |
