Cheesy Italian Noodles
Ingredients
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package (8 ounces) fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can (16 ounces) stewed tomatoes
1 jar (16 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1 package (8 ounces) shell macaroni, cooked
1 container (16 ounces) sour cream
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
Directions
Cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic powder until browned. Add the mushrooms, stewed tomatoes and spaghetti sauce. Mix well.
In a 13.9-inch baking pan, place half of the cooked noodles. Top with half of the ground beef, then half the sour cream and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with the cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
