| A classic dish from the Philippines. |
| 1 package (12 ounces) dried rice noodles 1 teaspoon vegetable oil 1 onion, diced 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups cooked chicken 1 small head cabbage, thinly sliced 4 carrots, thinly sliced 1/4 cup soy sauce |
| Place the noodles in a large bowl and cover completely
with warm water. Allow to sit until soft, and then drain and set aside. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft, about two minutes, stirring constantly. Add the chicken, cabbage and carrots and continue to cook until cabbage starts to wilt. Add the noodles and soy sauce; heat through. |
