Cajun Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup plain dry breadcrumbs
2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
Dash cayenne pepper
Oil
Directions
Combine the onion soup mix, breadcrumbs and seasonings in a bowl. Dip the chicken chunks into the breading, coating well.
Place nuggets on a cookie sheet lightly sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. (For crispier nuggets, spray with a little oil before cooking.) Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Suggestions
Serve with assorted dipping sauces.
