Quick Spanish Rice

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (14 ounces) stewed tomatoes
7 ounces water
1 can (28 ounces) tomato sauce
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 cups uncooked white rice
Seasoned salt
Pepper
Banana pepper rings, optional

Directions

Brown the ground beef with the bell pepper, onion and garlic. Add the rice and cook for a few seconds, stirring. Add the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper and banana peppers, if using. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve.
