Greek Chicken and Feta Pitas
Pita bread stuffed with shredded chicken and a yogurt-dill sauce!
Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt
4 tablespoons lemon juice, divided
1 tablespoon fresh dill
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
4 pita pockets
Sliced green onions
Chopped tomato
Shredded lettuce
Directions
Combine the yogurt, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, dill and garlic. Mix well and set aside.
Combine the chicken and remaining 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon mixture into warmed pita bread. Spoon on some sauce, then top with green onions, tomatoes, feta cheese and shredded lettuce. Serve.
Suggestions
Serve with potato chips and iced tea!
