Beer Boiled Shrimp with Tangy Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
1 can (12 ounces) beer (water may be substituted)
2 tablespoons prepared crab and shrimp boil
2 pounds medium shrimp, in shell
Dipping Sauce:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
3 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
Black pepper, to taste
Directions
For sauce, combine all the ingredients. Mix well.
Bring the beer or water to a boil in a large pot. Add the crab and shrimp boil. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque, about three to four minutes. Drain well.
Suggestions
Serve with sauce.
