Broiled Salmon with Dill Sauce
Ingredients
4 salmon steaks or filets, about 8 ounces each
2 cups plain, nonfat yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped, fresh dill
1/2 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Combine the yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, dill, cucumber, salt and pepper. Stir gently to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Heat the broiler. Season the salmon with salt and pepper and place on a lightly-oiled broiler rack. Cook about 3 inches from the heat source for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Suggestions
Serve with dill sauce.
