Baked Sugar Pumpkins
Ingredients
2 small sugar pumpkins
4 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
Cut the top off the pumpkins and remove the seeds. Sprinkle the brown sugar, butter and cinnamon evenly between the two pumpkins. Replace the pumpkin top and place in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish filled with about 1-inch of water.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes, or until pumpkin is tender.
Suggestions
If your family does not like pumpkin, the same method can be used for acorn or butternut squash.
