Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing
Cornbread stuffing you make in the Crock Pot!
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cornbread mix, prepared according to package directions
8 slices bread, toasted and cubed
4 eggs
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cans (10.5 ounces each) cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Black pepper, to taste
Directions
Lightly grease the inside of a Crock Pot. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the butter. Pour mixture into the Crock Pot. Dot with the butter. Cook on low for three to five hours.
Suggestions
Great additions include browned sausage, chopped pecans, diced apples or green onions.
