Sauteed Asparagus
Justin Coke
iParenting's Dad of the Month shares his favorite recipe!
Ingredients
Asparagus
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
Soy sauce, to taste
Directions
Toss desired amount of asparagus with extra virgin olive oil. Saute over high heat. While cooking, season with a little salt pepper and crushed red pepper flakes. When the asparagus is tender and almost ready to remove from the heat drizzle on soy sauce and toss in pan. Keep pan on the heat just long enough for soy sauce to caramelize. Remove and serve.
Suggestions
Great with grilled chicken, steak or pork.
