Chocolate Dipped Pretzels
Candace Moore Hill
Ingredients
1 bag thick pretzel sticks
1 bag chocolate chips, any kind or flavor
A shaker decorative sprinkles, any shape or color
Waxed paper
Directions
Find a tall, heavy-duty plastic cup and fill with chips. Heat in the microwave very carefully 30 seconds at a time. Heat until just melted and stir with a chopstick. Cover a cookie sheet with a sheet of waxed paper. Dip pretzel sticks, one at a time, in melted chocolate, not too thick. Lay out on waxed paper. After doing six or eight pretzels, sprinkle with decorations. These will take about an hour to dry hard.
Suggestions
Lay flat in a container with a lid. Serve within two days. There should be enough melted chocolate to coat an entire bag of pretzel sticks, allowing for some breakage. Make enough to share with the teachers and everyone will want to know how you did it.
