Fried Muenster Cheese Sticks
Ingredients
1 package (12 ounces) Muenster cheese, cut into 16 logs
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Directions
Dip the cheese logs into the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumbs. Repeat so that all of the logs are dipped and coated twice.
Fry the logs in hot oil (about 350 degrees F) for three to five minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Suggestions
Serve alone or with spaghetti or marinara sauce for dipping.
