Peanut Butter on Toast Crunch
Christine Ribaudo
This recipe is a favorite of my family for breakfast, lunch or snack time.
Ingredients
4 slices whole-wheat bread
4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
4 tablespoons fortified granola cereal (such as Kellogg's Smart Start)
1 large apple cut into small cubes, optional
Directions
Lightly toast the bread. Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter on each slice. Top each slice with 1 tablespoon cereal and one-fourth of the apple chunks. Serves four.
Suggestions
Serve with a glass of low-fat milk.
